“Zindagi Ek Dastaan” (Life: A Tale): When the boundless emotions of the heart are infused with reverence, the mind yearns to surrender itself in devotion to the Guru; for, whether directly or indirectly, the Guru is the light of one’s life—the guiding force that enables us to cross the turbulent river of existence and kindle the eternal flame of knowledge. In this book, I offer my humble tribute of reverence to my esteemed Gurus—great sages who not only inspired my life’s journey but also ignited the light of wisdom within me. I speak of Batuknath Shastri Khisate Ji and ‘Sahab Ji Sarkar’; merely seeing them a few times was enough for my soul to accept them as my Gurus. I hold boundless reverence and devotion for them; indeed, even before his passing, I saw a vision of ‘Sarkar’ in a dream, foretelling his departure. Whatever my pen—overwhelmed by this deep reverence—has written is recorded here in “Zindagi Ek Dastaan.” My emotions are further expressed through the *dohas* (couplets) included here. The remaining ten sections—or ‘mirrors’—reflect the lived reality of my life, revealing a glimpse of the anguish and pain that have deeply wounded and scarred my soul.
