"Chhatpatahat"

"Restlessness"

*Chhatpatahat* is my first collection of stories. This anthology is a manifestation of my innermost feelings and experiences. The stories compiled here are tales of the common person; they give voice to experiences rooted in what is happening in society—whether visible, hidden, or unspoken. These stories serve as a mirror, revealing certain enigmatic and painful facets of human life. Grounded in reality, they explore a woman’s dignity, her anguish, her joys and sorrows, and the ups and downs of her journey.

"Byaahta"

"Lawfully wedded wife"

*Byahita* is a collection of seven stories. Rich in authentic emotions and themes relevant to contemporary times, it explores the dynamics of deceptive relationships, clashes of values, and the expressions of a mind troubled by human suffering. Simultaneously, it portrays the social landscape through the lens of the married woman—depicting her anguish, her inner turmoil, and her silent suffering—while also revealing the inner self that asserts its existence through the act of waiting.

"Talaash"

"Pursuit"

This collection comprises seven stories that capture various events, episodes, clashes of values, and the expressions of a mind stung by human emotions. Simultaneously, the collective psyche—writhing, burning, sobbing, restless, wandering, and seeking refuge—searches for a complete world while awaiting discovery. My gaze focuses on vulnerable individuals grappling with life’s struggles and contradictions; this perspective becomes the heart of the narrative, drawing me into its fold.

"Rishton Ki Dor"

"Ties of Kinship"

The mind is weighed down by a multitude of burdens—ranging from the complexities of human thought within relationships and the disintegration of families to the outlook on life and the frustrations of a constrained existence. This collection comprises nine stories that give voice to the human psyche through various incidents, episodes, clashes of values, and deep-seated emotions. It portrays a mind navigating the social landscape—suffering, burning, sobbing, restless, and adrift—seeking refuge at a resting point, all while grappling with the desire to both bind itself to the ties of relationships and break free from them. These stories are not premeditated; rather, they are the spontaneous expression of joys, sorrows, anguish, and emotions that arose in the moment—stories that make one realize, “This is real.”

"Haasiye Per Zindagi"

"Life on the Margins"

*Haashiye Par Zindagi* (Life on the Margins) comprises ten stories that evoke the joys and sorrows of life, deeply imbued with human emotions. This collection weighs heavily on the heart as it explores themes such as human mindset, the disintegration of families, perspectives on life, the lengths to which people go out of selfishness, the pain of parting, and the frustration born of the burden of a helpless existence. While death is a natural process, artificially manipulating it represents the ultimate extreme of selfishness.
